WHAT DOES LIFE LOANS DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Why?

Lenders choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires Lenders to tell you how they collect, share, and protect your personal information. We are not a Lender or agent. We provide marketing services but we do follow privacy practices generally required of Lenders. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

What?

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. The other types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or your loan request. This information can include:

  • Social Security number and income, name, address, telephone number, email address, driver's license number, military status, information about your spouse or dependent, identification of individuals close to you such as your job supervisor.
  • Banking account information, ABA/Routing numbers, and income information.
  • Credit history and assets including whether you rent or own, income source, how you get paid, how often you get paid, length of time with employer and bank, and next two pay dates.
  • IP address, browsing and log data, your desired loan amount and any other information that may be required in a loan request form.

We use cookies to allow faster and easier access to your account information, monitor traffic on the site and measure traffic patterns to improve the website. We may combine personal information we collect from you with other information about you that we receive from third party sources, to ensure our loan request form records are accurate. Lenders and aggregators that purchase your information may also supplement your personal information with other information about you that they obtained from other sources.

How?

All loan marketing companies need to share individuals' personal information to put you in contact with Lenders. In the section below, we list the reasons we can share their customers' personal information; the reasons we choose to share; and whether you can limit this sharing. In the event of a transaction involving the sale of some or all of our businesses, customer and site visitor information may be one of the transferred assets and may be disclosed in connection with negotiations relating to a proposed transaction. In such case, the transferred information may become subject to a different privacy policy.

In order to provide services free of charge, we may display advertisements. By accessing or using this website, you expressly agree to receive these advertisements. The advertiser never has access to individual account information that you provide to us through the loan request process to connect you with a lender. However, these advertisers may use their own tracking technologies, including cookies, to collect information about you and other users of this website who view or interact with their advertisements.
